今回は、「中学1年生の英語の教科書ONE WORLDの中1前半にいろいろ詰まっていてて大変？！」という話です。
昨年2021年度から、中学校の学習指導要領（カリキュラム）が新しくなり、特に英語は、扱う事柄が多くなりました。ざっくり言うと、2020年までは高校で扱っていた文法事項などを、中学で習うようになりました。そうなると、当然ながら、中3内容が中2に降り、中2内容が中1に降り、中1で学習する内容が増えました。
どのぐらい増えたか、中1で学習する主な項目を、2020年までの旧カリキュラムと2021年以降の旧カリキュラムで比較してみます。
ちょうど、千葉県佐倉市を含む印旛地区が、新旧ともにONE WORLD（教育出版）だったため、これで比較をしてみます。

おおまかな比較になりますが、やはり、増えていることがわかります。ONE WORLDの方は、中1で学習する文法事項が多く、BLUE SKYの方は、中1で学習する文法事項はさほど増えていない分、中2で多めに学習する形になっています。
